    Snickers New Superbowl Spot

Danny Trejo as Marcia and Steve Buscemi has Jan… EPIC!index

  2. GoDaddy.com released a BRILLIANT Super Bowl ad yesterday mocking those Budweiser “puppy” commercials.  But animal lovers absolutely LOST THEIR BOWELS over it, so it’s been pulled.

The ad starts with a cute golden retriever puppy falling off a truck, then making the long, arduous journey back home to his farm.

When he gets there, his owner is overjoyed to see him . . . because she’d already sold him to a place called “Gabby’s Goldens” through her GoDaddy website

The ad was a perfect satire of Budweiser’s cynical, pandering “cuteness overload” puppy spots, but animal activists didn’t see it that way.

Strange Things You Didn’t Know You Could Rent

The question “should you rent or buy” doesn’t just apply to homes anymore . . . it applies to pretty much EVERYTHING.  Here are six weird things you can save money on by renting.

    1.  Legos.  Pley.com . . . spelled P-L-E-Y . . . rents Lego sets for as low as $15 a month, with free shipping.  And every time you send one back, you get a new set.

    2.  Designer dresses.  RentTheRunway.com lets you rent stuff for up to eight days.  Then you send it back, and THEY dry clean it.  A $500 dress costs about 30 bucks to rent, and you can also rent accessories.

    3.  Artwork.  A website called TurningArt.com rents paintings for as low as $10 a month, with free shipping.  You just send them back when you want to, like Netflix.

    4.  Goats.  RentAGoat.com is for people who want an eco-friendly way to clear huge areas of weeds and grass.  Instead of mowing it, the goats just eat it.

    5.  Caskets.  A lot of funeral homes offer casket rentals now.  It’s mostly for people who want to be cremated, but their family wants to have a funeral first.

    6.  Wedding cakes.  On CakeRental.com, you can rent a Styrofoam cake covered in real icing.  They mail it to you, and there’s a section cut out where you put a REAL slice . . . to cut and eat for wedding pictures.  Then you serve everyone else sheet cake.

  4. Bieber Not An SNL Fan

Saturday Night Live’s recent spoof of Justin Bieber’s Calvin Klein campaign has upset the Biebs, according to Hollywood Life.  The skits star comedian Kate McKinnon impersonating 20-year-old Bieber riding a Razor scooter, sipping a juice cup, and taking a nap in a baby stroller, while wearing a pair of XXS Calvin Klein undies and referring to his “pee-pee.”   Bieber pretended to be a good sport, tweeting SNL during the live broadcast to say the skits were “well played.” But a source close to the star told Hollywood Life that Bieber wasn’t happy at all. “Justin hated the skits about him on SNL. It made him wonder if he should ever do the show again because they did that to him. But cooler heads prevailed and he just vented to anyone who would listen that he thought the skits were mean-spirited. He did not have a sense of humor over it.”

  5. If you have ever gone inside the McDonald’s off Kearsarge, you have mostly likely been greeted by a Erie’s National Ray Kroc Award winner, Brian Swyers.  I have had the pleasure of this on waaay more than one occasion.  Let’s just say at my autopsy my blood might contain Big Mac Special Sauce.

Brian received an accolade that is reserved for just 1% of McDonald’s managers industry wide.  When you get the chance, go by and congratulate Brian.  You’ll feel good and I am sure, so will he.  When you do, “I’m lovin’ it!”
